Through this interview, Mikami hopes to change the image of Tango Gameworks as a survival horror studio. He wants Tango Gameworks to be seen as a studio that can make games of various genres.

In addition, he also emphasized that the latest game from Tango Gameworks, led by John Johanas (director of The Evil Within 2), is not a horror game. Mikami explained that this game was completely the opposite of fans’ expectations.

There is no other information that we can get other than they will not develop a horror game in the near future. Lastly, Mikami hopes Tango Gameworks can produce a masterpiece at least once every decade.
