Insomniac Games Announces Spider-Man 2

At today’s PlayStation Showcase, Insomniac Games officially announced the arrival of Spider-Man 2. This game will continue the story of Peter Parker and Miles Morales in the Spider-Verse.

Spider-Man 2 is planned to be released exclusively for the PlayStation 5 in 2023 with no definite release date. This announcement was made alongside a short trailer showing Peter and Miles going to solve crimes together.

In the trailer, it is revealed that the main enemy they will face is Venom. This short trailer ends with the confirmation that the game will launch in 2023.

Ryan Schneider, an Insomniac Games insider, said that they are interested in creating a new story for Peter and Miles on the PlayStation 5. Just like the previous games, Insomniac Games doesn’t just want to tell the story of great superheroes.

However, they will also tell a compelling human story, one full of heart and humor that dives into the people behind the mask. Along with this, Scneider also confirmed that most of the previous teams, will return in Spider-Man 2.

The returning team includes Creative Director – Bryan Intihar and Game Director – Ryan Smith. In addition, it was also confirmed that Yuri Lowenthal and Nadji Jeter will reprise their respective roles as Peter and Miles, and Tony Todd will voice Venom.
